My husband Joel and I live in Kearney and have two sons, Caleb and Joshua. I have taught instrumental music for 14 years. Most recently, I taught at Amherst Public Schools. I have taught at Exeter-Milligan Public Schools, and Overton Public Schools. I received my undergraduate and master's degrees in Music Education from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
I love dachshunds! Our family has a tan dachshund named Daphne. She is 2 years old and gets so excited when everyone comes home to love her up.
I enjoy to read in my free time. I have to say my favorite books are the Harry Potter series. I owe all seven of the books and have read them twice. I also own all the DVDs that are out and am looking forward to 'The Half-Blood Prince' which should be coming out in the winter to the theater.
