Varsity/Head Coach- Megan Gangwish- grew up in NE Nebraska.  She graduated from Laurel-Concord and attended the University of Nebraska @ Lincoln where she received her bachelors in Community Health and Health/PE Education.  While receiving her bachelors she was fortunate enough to be part of the coaching staff at Lincoln Northeast under the guidance of Sandi Genrich.  Lincoln Northeast had many winning seasons, with numerous conference championships, and state volleyball apprearances while Megan was involved with the program.  After Megan became engaged/married to John Gangwish she moved to Kearney and began coaching for Kearney High as the Reserve volleyball coach and taught at Horizon Middle School as the physical education teacher.  The next year she moved into the Junior Varsity position and then to head coach.  Megan will begin her 4th year as head coach in the 2007 season.

JV/Varsity Assistant-Shane Nordby has grown up and lived in Nebraska all his life. He graduated from a small high school near Hastings, Trumbull, with a total of 11 classmates. Shane then attended Hastings College where he graduated with a degree in Education. He stayed in Hastings and worked as a third grade teacher in Trumbull for 2 years. During this time Shane was also employed as an Assistant Volleyball coach at Hastings College. During the four years he coached there they reached the National Tournament 3 times and qualified for the Final Four once. He then had the wonderful opportunity of moving to Kearney and becoming a third grade teacher at Bryant Elementary. For the past six years Shane has been living, coaching, and teaching here. He loves to play volleyball, golf and be outside. Shane loves his teaching job as well as working with and coaching in Kearney Public Schools

Reserve Coach/Varsity Assistant:  Jenni Jameson  grew up in Minden, NE.  She is student teaching at two elementary schools in Kearney during the fall.

Freshman A Coach: Jessica Jesseritz started her coaching career at UNK as the graduate assistant for Loper Volleyball Season.  She then moved to Omaha and became the head volleyball and head basketball coach at Millard South.  Fortunately for us, she is getting married to the head baseball coach at UNK and moved back to Kearney, and became a teacher at the highschool and a coach for KHS volleyball! Jessica will begin her 2nd year as head freshman coach in 2007.

Freshman B Coach:Terri Glesinger   has coached many years for the south central club volleyball team and a variety of other teams.  She is a math teacher at Kearney High School.
