Welcome to Fourth Grade
During Fourth Grade a newsletter will come home, called the Hartner Herald. On off weeks the students will "publish" their newsletter.
Spelling
Our spelling schedule will follow a pattern each week, schedule permitting: Monday--Introduce new words. Tuesday--Take a "pretest" and begin the study packet. Wednesday--Practice, Practice, and complete a worksheet. Thursday--Practice, Practice. Friday--Final Test and share work.
Packets
A great amount of fourth grade language homework will be given in "packets". Spelling, reading, and grammar/sentence sheets are assigned weekly. Two or more sheets may be in the "packet", and be due in two or three days. Please check the Planner for due dates.
